It is a part of Catterwood Cottage, which is divided into two parts: Mountain View and Raspberry Cottage.
Both parts of the cottage are connected via interconnecting doors.
Catterwood Cottage has the capacity to accommodate group bookings for up to 14 guests.

Mountain View Cottage, with its two generous bedrooms, including a plush en-suite, is tailored to meet the desires of every guest. Yes, our guests can indulge in a luxurious and relaxing experience during their stay with us. Our very private, 9-seater hot tub is waiting for you in a fully fenced back garden with breathtaking views of the mountains.
The hot tub is housed in a fully roofed wooden gazebo, ensuring your complete privacy and comfort.

Celebrations & Party Bookings
Party bookings must be pre-approved.
A mandatory Group Booking Package costing £99 applies to all party and celebration bookings. This package covers hot tub drainage, refill, and waste management for reservations of 5 or more people.
Pet Policy
The private backyard of the Mountain View Cottage is the perfect place for your furry friends to play and relax. With a sturdy fence surrounding the area, you can rest assured that your pets will be safe and secure while they explore and have fun.
There is a fee of £25 per dog per stay, and we’ll provide dog bowls and dog beds for them to use during their stay. Please remember to bring a dog blanket with you.
There’s plenty of open space for dogs to walk and run around, but since there may be other guests with dogs, we ask that you keep your dog supervised at all times.
We allow up to 3 dogs/booking.
Location
Mountain View Cottage is a part of Catterwood Cottage, situated within Finn Village, which is surrounded by the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside and hills.
It is located just to the west of Croftamie village and is easily accessible from popular spots like Loch Lomond, The Devil’s Pulpit, Glengoyne Distillery, and the Campsie Hills. The peaceful village of Drymen is only a 5-minute drive away, where you can find lovely cafes, pubs, and shops.
We take pride in offering our guests a serene and luxurious experience during their stay. Finn Village is a National Scenic Area and falls within The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, which is Scotland’s first National Park.
To reach Finn Village, you will take a long, private, and gated drive off a quiet country road, ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for our guests.

- Glasgow: 19 miles / 45 minutes’ drive
- Edinburgh: 63 miles / 1.5 hours’ drive
- Drymen: 3.2 miles / 8 minutes’ drive
- Devil’s Pulpit: 2.6 miles / 6 minutes’ drive
- Glengoyne Distillery: 5.2 miles / 10 minutes’ drive
Check-in and Check-out
Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 10 am. If you want to extend your stay, we offer the option of early check-ins and late check-outs for an additional fee.
For early check-ins:
- Starting from 1 pm, there is a fee of £30
- Starting from 2 pm, there is a fee of £20
For late check-outs:
- Until 12 pm, there is a fee of £20
- Until 1 pm, there is a fee of £30

Number of Guests
The cottage has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 guests. 2 additional guests can sleep in the living room on a sofa bed and a folded bed.
Costs
Our prices for staying in the cottage start at £350 per night. However, the prices may vary depending on your preferred dates and the policies of the property. To see specific prices, please enter your desired dates.
The price that we charge for staying at the pod includes:
- Accommodation in the Mountain View Cottage and most of the facilities provided.

However, some services and facilities are not included in the booking price and will be charged separately:

Group Bookings
If you’re looking to book for a group, you can hire Mountain View Cottage and Raspberry Cottage as a whole unit, which can accommodate up to 14 guests. Both cottages have a back garden that can be connected as well.
